Caring for your people is good for your business. 

Organisations who prioritise the growth and wellbeing of their people will increase engagement and loyalty among their employees. LinkedIn’s 2018 Workforce Learning Report, found 93% of employees would stay at a company longer if it invested in their development. It makes sense - helping people manage the complexities of their worlds and to grow as individuals in the process, creates happier cultures which creates flourishing businesses, with less churn.  My hope for the future of work, having learned some lessons from the global pandemic, is that the wellbeing and development of people is prioritised by every organisation. This needs to be the start of a Second Chapter in our organisational cultures.

I coach across a variety of areas but I specialise in coaching leaders to do so with compassion, purpose and authenticity, which enables them to perform at their best and to inspire others to give theirs. I believe in the power of conscious leadership to create cultures that promote emotional intelligence, collaboration and accountability and that recognise that profit and purpose go hand in hand. People who value what they do, within an organisation that rewards innovation, creativity and growth, will achieve brilliant things for themselves and the collective.

I work globally (in person and virtually) through 1:1 executive, leadership and management coaching and skills training (modular programmes and one-off workshops).

I have a special interest in supporting female leadership development. After having my children and returning to my career I was struck by the lack of female role models available to share insights on how they balanced management and motherhood. With a spotlight on female board representation, plus the introduction of shared parental leave and more flexible working practices things are improving slowly but there is a significant way to go.

I conducted my own research amongst 75 women who all had careers before becoming mothers. It exposed the same challenges repeatedly; it’s all about work/life balance, confidence (or a lack of) and purpose. All of these themes affect their sense of fulfilment, clarity in the choices they are making and ultimately their impact. These women are people in organisations all over the world and they are asking for help. 

They need a type of help that looks at their whole world. The support should take into account the current stage of their career and all major transitions that can affect their capacity, mindset and career vision.

Leadership

Your leaders are the heart of your business. Their style and impact influences organisational culture and can drive an agenda of innovation and empowerment both individually and collectively. I work with leaders at all levels to explore their leadership range, vision, definitions of success and related themes, to enable them to give their best to your organisation and to bring others with them.

Return to work

Returning from a period out of the business, such as maternity or sickness leave is a major transition. Through 1:1 coaching we create a safe forum to explore strategies to manage the range of physical and emotional challenges that arise in individuals as they adjust. Through the coaching process we are likely to cover themes including identity, self-confidence, time management, impact and boundary setting.

Redundancy / Exit

Supporting employees through an exit transition demonstrates a commitment to the welfare and mental health of your staff. This 1:1 coaching helps individuals process the range of emotions that can come with living loss, as well as identifying opportunities for reflection, learning and growth which will enable them to transition out of the business positively and with a focus on future opportunities.
